The naughty rooster

The artwork depicts a young, mischievous rooster, whose forward-leaning stance seems to challenge a reigning king, master of his territory. It is as if he were declaring the need to make room for the new, for stronger youth. The rooster’s vibrant plumage resembles the armor of a warrior ready for battle, while the turbulent sky, composed of irregular pieces of pictorial mosaic, seems to announce that the moment of combat has arrived. A metaphor for life and generational change—the new rising to take its place.
