The two trees<\/span><\/h2>\n

The artwork depicts a typical landscape of central Italy, with a vibrant, spontaneous multicolored bloom in the foreground and two trees in the background. They represent the life of two beings of the same species; they appear small, almost disproportionate compared to the foreground adorned with such large flowers\u2014but they are not. Following the image and moving beyond the meadow in the foreground, the eye leaps forward, as if through a zoom, making us realize that the trees are not small at all; on the contrary, they almost dominate the scene of the vast space surrounding them. The power of an almost surreal blue sky, emphasized by the construction of the pictorial mosaic piece, energizes the image and restores strength to our minds. Balancing the whole are gentle little hills in shaded greens, softening and harmonizing the image as it reaches its fullness. Artwork created with oil paints enriched with pigments and pieces of pictorial mosaic made with stained-glass colors, enclosed by golden leadwork.<\/span><\/p>\n
